The Center for Research on Health Care (CRHC) Data Center was developed to support the conduct of high-quality clinical and translational research at the University of Pittsburgh. It is part of the Institute for Clinical Research Education (ICRE) and has become the major organization on campus to provide data management, statistical analysis, and coordination of clinical and translational research services.

The Data Center has served as the lead analytic organization or coordinating center for over 300 research projects. It supports major portions of the analytic, data management, and evaluation services of the University of Pittsburgh Clinical and Translational Sciences Award (CTSA); it serves as the Shared Facility Core for the CTSA K12 and T32 programs; and it leads the Design, Biostatistics, and Clinical Research Ethics (DBE) Core and the Evaluation Core of the Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI).

The Data Center has sections devoted to statistical analysis, Web design, and data collection, and it supports a variety of data management mechanisms, including PC tablet-based data collection. The sections are housed together as a unit in the heart of campus, thereby fostering a strong working relationship between the sections and facilitating easy access to investigators.

Feel free to browse our site to find out more about us and what we do. If you have any questions, contact us and we'll get back to you to discuss your data management and analysis needs.
