Dana Tudorascu joined the faculty in 2011 as an assistant professor of medicine and biostatistics. She collaborates with investigators on design and analysis of clinical research projects. Before joining the University of Pittsburgh, she was an assistant researcher at the Waisman Brain Imaging Lab at the University of Wisconsin at Madison, where she provided statistical consulting services for functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), positron emission tomography (PET), and diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) study design and analysis. She received her PhD in Biostatistics from the University of Pittsburgh in June 2009.
